Ever wondered where those super-cute designs on Zara t-shirts came from?
Well, they were dreamed up in the mind of Conrad Roset, an aaaa-mazing illustrator from Barcelona. As well as working with Zara, he's notched up other impressive names on his client list, including Adidas, Buble, Filmax and Globalrhythm.
I am so in love with his colorful, feminine illustrations, i wish i could live in his dreamy little world.

House of Holland Fall 2010
Henry Holland returned to the roots of his burgeoning fashion empire for Fall 2010, re-inventing the slogan tees that made him king of cool oh so many seasons ago.
This time, he’s not name-dropping celebrities with quirky little rhymes, but ensuring no olddd peeps buy his designs by using acronyms that nobody over the age 27 is likely to understand.
The typically light-hearted show was aptly named “CTFO it’s only a show”, which, for those over 27, means “Chill the fuck out”.
Ooh, taking a little jab at the fashion industry there, are we Henry?
Anyway, the collection, inspired by ‘downtown NY’ is sporty, sparkly and graphic, with a little hint of nerdiness thrown in. The acronym lettering seemed reminiscent of varsity jackets, very fitting with the whole sporty New-Yorky thing. Also featured was the ‘bandana print’ repeated throughout the collection on dresses, jackets, trousers...everything. Even hair scrunchies. Oh, and there was a really cute bandage-style dress made from printed House of Holland elastic and some knee-high socks with gold chain prints, adding a touch of luxe to the otherwise casual collection.
There was, of course, also the trademark House of Holland printed tights in pastely purple and blue and lots of bold, graphic stripes, a la Fall 2009, only done a lot, lot better.
Honestly, I was not a fan of last years fall offering from House of Holland, but this year, it’s a totally different story.
I loved this collection. Well, maybeee it went little bit overboard with some of the pieces that were, like, fully bandana-print, they just made my eyes go all funny, but that’s just personal opinion i guess.
All in all, the collection did just what I expected from Henry Holland, it brought the fun back into fashion, which is just what we needed.
House of Holland Fall 2010, FTW.

Charles Anastase Fall 2010/11
I'm gonna begin by saying that usually, i'm an Anastase super-fan. Yep, means that this collection left me a little, well, unconvinced. The Parisian designer cited his influence for A/W 2010/11 as 'Winter Garden' and it features an array of contrasting colours and fabrics mixed together in the typical Anastase playground style. however his latest collection didn't quite live up to my expectations. It's intriguing and imaginative but whilst some pieces are wearable, others just make me go "Oh, Charles! Really? Reeeeeeally? Why?"
The collection features some huge, blanket-style coats, which completely envelop the wearer, they look guaranteed to keep you warm, even in the harsh British weather we've been dealing with recently, which is une grande bonus, there's also an abundance of high-waisted flared trousers, providing an elongated silhouette, which is also added to by the long, clingy dresses. There's a lot of layering (a little too much layering, one may say...) and the majority of the clothing seems to be baggy and shapeless.
The collection overall is still the whimsical, storybook style that Anastase does so well, but it's just not my cup of tea.
What does everyone else think?
Bright blue clingy dress with contrasting red felted wool coat. I actually really like the coat. And the shoes. What's with the neck/headgear though, seriously?
The chiffon cape features cute little red envelope shapes, i think they might be little pockets. How sweet!?
Uh-oh... Little Bow Peep has lost her sheep and dresses up like one in order to find them...
Too.Much.Layering. I don't know where to look, there's just so much going on!
Another look reminiscent of farmyard animals?
The print alone is bad enough. The print on the jacket AND trousers? Horrendous.
I don't even know where to start with this one. Too many ruffles and the jacket is giving it a bad silhouette. Like, a really bad silhouette.

"Life sucks, in a beautiful kind of way"
Maybe in 2010 i'll channel an Axl Rose-esque kind of look.
Circa 1987, of course. Not a modern day Axl.
That's not a good look on anyone.

Fafi x Adidas
Super-cool French artist Fafi is famous for her girly graffiti that features her own little ‘Fafinettes’ - a crew of cute little street vixens with serious attitude which are so wicked that they’ve earned her collaborations with M.A.C, Coca-Cola and LeSportsac. And just when you thought she couldn’t get any cooler, I’ve just heard that the girl’s gone and got herself another hot collab with Adidas for A/W 09!
Now, I’m a sucker when it comes to sneakers. If they look cool – I’ve gotta have ‘em and they do not come much cooler than this, I tell ya! These limited edition shoes come in five different styles and feature Fafi’s trademark playful illustrations. My personal favourites are the Superskates… or the Stan Smiths… no…wait. I can’t decide. I want them all!
These are some seriously sweet kicks but just like anything worth having - they’re limited edition so you better be quick if you want ‘em,
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the Fafi x Adidas collection also features 6 items of clothing – from jumpsuits to jackets and even some knee-high socks.
Well, you’re gonna need something to wear with your pretty new shoes now, aren’t you?!

Fashion week.
Oh, Luella. You make my heart jump like i'm on cocaine.
As usual, i loved the Spring 2010 collection, though admittedly not as much as i liked the Fall 2009 collection, cos that was epic.
Fantastic as this gear may be, i think my fave collection was Anna Sui's.
i just a-dore that cute little cropped jacket/cape thing!

It's tres cool, though i think i'd prefer one with Raphael on it, cos he was always my fave. He was one badass ninja turtle.

Wanna be startin' somethin'.
So, the recent untimely death of the King of Pop has inevitabely led to a maaaaassive increase in the sales of his records and seen a surge in MJ memorabilia: Micheal Jackson dolls, mugs, commemorative plates, air fresheners?! Yep, it's the whole 'Princess Diana' shebang.
The prime of Jackomania, almost 3 decades ago made him a total fashion icon.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we all know the iconic white crystal glove, the diamante-studded shoes, the famous fedora, the too-tight gold trousers, all the staples of MJ's wardrobe and what every hip kid was wearing in the 80's.
But now the MJ look is back with a vengeance and looking fiercer than ever.
This 'MJ chic' look has me completely transfixed at the moment.
I want that shirt.
I need those jackets.
I will kill for those gloves.
It's official, Michael Jackson has never been cooler.

Dance, dance, dance to the songs on the radio.
How HOT are the Plastiscines?
Wait, i'll answer that myself. They're pretty much a pheonix set on fire and sent to live on the mass of blazing hot deadly gas that we like to call the Sun. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
The Plastiscines, for anyone who for some insane reason most probably related to them living under a BOULDER, has not heard of them, are an amazingly hip French all-girl 4-piece indie rock band, inspired by The Libertines and The Strokes (yet another reason to love them, not that you needed any more!)
They released their first album, 'LP1' (with all but one of the songs performed in French) in 2007 and it was an instant hit with the fashion-loving indie kids, who probably couldn't understand a word of it.
Their second album, 'About Love' is out now, on Nylon records and features the hit song, 'Barcelona' which is performed in English for all you folks out there who aren't too hot on a bit of the ol' Francais. And it's a teriffic album, if i must say so myself. It makes you wanna dance around the garden barefeet in the sun, and any album that puts you in the mood for barefeet dancing is all right by my standards.
Oh, and another reason to love the Plastiscines?
Their killer fashion sense!
These girls deffo know how to rock it!

Clever tricks.
So, the Neurotica collection is arriving at Topshop this month and i am amongst the posse of eager fashionistas sharpening their claws and practising elbow-shoves in preparation for the launch. The collection will be available throughout the country, and even in the lonesome US branch of Topshop, in New York City.
The London-based label is all about creepy but cute illustrations and prints and their Topshop collection is no exception. Featuring bodysuits, shift dresses and my personal favourite pick - the boyfriend jumper with the sooooper cute print of a girl holding balloons.
Seeing how the 'Horror girl' collection was a recent hit for everyones favourite High-Street store, it looks like scary-but-sweet Halloween chic is totally in, and I, for one, am loving it!
